A Destination Stopover in Dubai

Fiona, a sweet lady with a Macau roots, will be travelling to Germany for a master's degree. Before she starts her studies, she made a stopover in Dubai to see the city.

To make her trip memorable and to enable to capture the beauty of the city, we planned her itinerary. At 7am, we picked her up from Armani Hotel, then we drove to Umm Suqeim beach to get a nice view of the Burj Al Arab. Afterwhich, we went to Souk Madinat to get the feel of Arabic architecture. By 9 am, we are in downtown Gold Souq to see why Dubai is called the City of Gold. We rode the Abra (water taxi), one of the oldest mode of transportation in Dubai, to cross the creek to Bur Dubai to Deira. As the day reaches noon and as the temperature becomes hotter, we went to Dubai Aquarium in Dubai Mall to cool down.

It was not hard for her pose for the camera, as she did some modeling jobs in HongKong and Macau. Through the pictures, I hope she will remember Dubai and come back for a longer stay.
